Tasked with covering Ancient Rome for a Government class project, we decided to go the ambitious route and do it via a Back to the Future spoof. What began as a simple school project eventually spawned fans out of our classmates, and led to us making a bunch of movies together in the future (including a FTTP sequel).
When one of his teachers asks him to help out with a science experiment, Marty McFlurry doesn’t think anything of it. But when Marty learns that his teacher, Doc, has created a time machine, it leads to some wacky circumstances that land Marty in Ancient Rome.

Forward to the Past, Part Two

The sequel to Forward to the Past that became our first ever feature-length film.
After a pretty successful response from our class project, we decided to spend the summer of 2009 making as great and funny of a film as we could. Forward to the Past, Part Two was the biggest, most ambitious project we’d done.
After coming back from ancient Rome, Marty decides he’s going to leave the time-traveling to Doc, and go on with his life. But when Doc goes into the future and witnesses something that only Marty McFlurry can stop, the two head to the time machine and aim for the future. Due to a malfunction, though, Marty and Doc instead find themselves in the past — and on a wild journey as the time machine begins jumping through the time/space continuum…

The summer after our graduation was a crazy season of filming, laughing, and diving deep into making a full-length movie. For me, it was a time I’ll never forget as I personally credit the experience of making Forward to the Past, Part Two as the catalyst for my decision to spend my life making movies.
